(KOGO San Diego) -- The dad seen in the video using a belt or a strap to beat his son in their backyard while he was teaching him how to catch a baseball is a city official from Imperial County.
Anthony Sanchez, director of the Imperial County Irrigation District, is being investigated after his neighbor took video of what he saw and turned it over to authorities. He is believed to be a T-ball and soccer coach.
