We are in awe!  Breaking into country music gets more difficult for new stars every year, so our hats are off to Lady Antebellum for such swift and strong success!

We've known Hillary of the group basically since she was born! We knew her mom, Linda Davis, since before her smash duet with Reba, "Does He Love You". Hillary has had the chance to see all the hard work her mom put into her own career, so with all that good training, she has been an award-winning contributor to her group.

Charles and Dave are winning those songwriting awards too, so it was such fun for us to talk to all three of them at the recent party to celebrate their first number one hit, "I Run To You".
Here's something extra special that was happening at the party, that a lot of people didn't realize.  Hillary's parents, Linda and Lang, were celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary that very same day!  Can you think of a better gift than to see your daughter and the group she's a part of celebrate such big success?  And I've got to hand it to Linda and Lang, they wanted to keep their anniversary news quiet, because, as they told us, that celebration was for Hillary and her bandmates.

That is classy!
Now, stepping away from class.  Even though the buffet was wonderful, consisting of good ol' fried chicken, barbeque, mac and cheese, green beans, "nanner puddin'", etc., most of us were able to overcome our barbaric tendencies and eat sensible portions. But there were some who were embarrassing in the scope of their overindulgence, right Lorianne?

Are you speaking of moi?

Yes, and I have photographic evidence.  Check out the picture.

OK, guilty. But I have an excuse! Instead of diving face first into the "nanner puddin'" as you call it, I opted for a second plate of entrees in place of dessert.  That's not so overindulgent, is it?

Again, check out the picture. By the way, did you ever find the button that popped off your pants?

Very funny. As I waddle away, thanks to Lady A for the wonderful celebration and having enough food on the buffet for seconds! All of us at Crook & Chase are thrilled for their success!

Look out, because their new single, "Need You Now", is flying up the charts!  Oh, goody, another party is probably in the works!
