Toby Keith has rescheduled a concert date this week after an operation to remove his gall bladder.
The 51-year-old singer underwent the procedure on Monday and postponed his Thursday gig at Fort McCoy in Sparta, Wisconsin until the end of August.
Keith is said to be recovering well after the surgery and is due back on stage on Friday at the WE Fest in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota.
A statement posted on his website prior to the surgery reads, "Toby Keith will be undergoing a minor medical outpatient procedure... and will reschedule his appearance at Fort McCoy for August 30th. Tickets purchased for the August 2nd performance will be honoured for the new date, no exchange necessary.
"The Live in Overdrive tour will resume on August 3 at the WE Fest in Detroit Lakes, MN."
